The Unexpected Effects of LASIK

Back in December, you may remember that I had LASIK surgery.

I’m still loving it.

There are unexpected pros and cons, though.  Most of them occurring in the shower.  My myopic peeps will appreciate.

Unexpected Con:  My backside is no longer the vague shape I’ve been lathering up for the last 25 years or so since I first needed glasses to function.  I can now see it with crystal clear vision.  I try not to look.

Unexpected Pro:  It is so much easier to shave your legs when you can see what you’re doing in the shower.  No more wayward hairs located twenty minutes later when I’m getting dressed.  No more sitting on the side of the tub with my glasses on wasting water shaving them before a shower.

Unexpected Pro:  I can pick up the shampoo and conditioner in the right order every time.

  1. Your post on LASIK is indeed an unexpecting post.
It will help me with my exploration.

Will bookmark your site to read more on the progress
    of your novel.

  2. Hi, Oona!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  3. That’s the most entertaining post on lasik I have ever read. I mean, I’m sure when I decide to have it done, I will appreciate different things than you.

Maybe I’ll be able to see those extra long eyebrow hairs that are like antennas at times and those ridiculous curly hairs that grow on my ears sometimes.

Thanks for a very interesting post, I smiled a lot as I read it.
